Comment = Hi, I am a huge Mel Waiters fan. I have all of his cd's and I truly love his music. However, I recently attended the New Year's Eve concert in Columbus, Ohio and I must say I was highly disappointed. The concert started at 8PM but Mel didn't come on stage until 11:50PM. Yet we paite 30.50 per tichet to se HIM. He only stayed on stage for about 45 minutes and 15 of those 45 minutes were spent preaching. He sang songs by others artist and maybe 3 of his own. This seems to be a pattern for him as I have seen him in concert before. SADLY, I regret to say, my family and I will never pay to see Mel in concert again. I will continue to buy his music.

Thank you very much Chandra !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I "LUV" me some Mel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I first saw his concert in Texas while on vacation from here in D.C./ Maryland about 4 / 5 years ago and I've made it a point to see him as much as possible ever since ( so far I 've seen him 4 0r 5 times...I was in Texas in July and I saw him again in concert in Nacadoches & boy was he shocked to see me down there..................he probably thinks that I am a stalker but I actually just love his music & that "Southern Soul " that I miss here in D.C.!
